Driving Simulator

driven by a steering wheel, controlled by an iPad

This driving simulator is part of a larger interactive demo that challenges driver's multi-tasking capabilities. The virtual car is controlled by a physical steering wheel. The simulator sends statistics like speed, awareness and location to a remote iPad managed by a facilitator. The facilitator can dictate the car's location and surrounding environment to further challenge the user.

Screen Shot 2013-03-07 at 1.18.13 AM Three different views, one straight ahead, one looking out of the driver's side window and one out of the passenger side window. The digital cameras mapped to physical screens, so looking left/right, allowed you to see what was to your left/right in the virtual world.
